Dale Nowicki

 

Dale Nowicki is general counsel for a national corporation that provides security and surveillance services and equipment for government entities, retail locations and special projects. He also serves as private counsel for a former advisor to the Trump administration.

As chief legal officer, Dale directs the company’s nationwide legal affairs, workplace investigations and serves on the company’s Executive Committee. Dale navigates legal and industry complexity, successfully mitigates risk, manages acquisitions and ensures the company mission is advanced. He protects the company’s "investability" and reputation with strong judgment and guidance at the intersection of legal, investor, and business interests.

Dale has 15+ years of legal experience conducting both civil and criminal litigation in state and federal courts, heading governance, corporate operations, investor engagement, and various other legal functions. He serves as a board member for several non-profits geared toward military veterans.

After serving 8 years in the U.S. Army as an officer in a special operations unit, Dale became a law enforcement officer for a large agency in southern California. Due to his past experience, Dale researched and drafted many officer-involved shooting opinions with an eye on constitutional rights, proper uses of force and civil rights.

Dale has worked as production counsel for film and TV companies handling both above the line and below the line contracts, negotiations, clearances, and labor issues. Dale has also taught as an adjunct college professor. He taught courses in the Administration of Justice program covering Criminal Law and Procedure, and Constitutional Law. 

Besides his law degree, Dale also has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and his undergraduate degree in criminal justice and military officer studies from the University of Toledo.
